EVIDENCE AND LIMITS

What we know. What we do not.

When they stop or cut back, some people notice changes in sleep, appetite, mood or cravings. Research offers ranges, not a prediction about you.

THE SHORT ANSWER

Quite a lot may shift. There is no script for you.

01

Withdrawal may occur.

One review estimates it in around half of people who use cannabis regularly or are dependent on it. Changes in sleep, irritability, anxiety, mood and appetite are among the most common.

02

It often starts early. It does not run to a clock.

Clinical literature describes a common onset within 24 to 48 hours and greater intensity between days 2 and 6. These are group ranges, not a timetable for your body.

03

21 days do not reset the body.

At ALO they are a practical window for moving through repeated scenes and observing. They are not a medical deadline, a THC cleanse or the date when a habit disappears.

ALO’s limit: it offers educational and practical support. It is not treatment and has not been tested as a clinical intervention.

WHAT TO DO WITH THIS

Three clues. A little more room.

Choose a moment that repeats and look at it with curiosity, not to monitor yourself. It is enough to note something you will recognize tomorrow.

When does it appear?
Time, place and company.
What did it promise to solve?
Sleep, reward, a break, boredom or something else.
What will you prepare?
One small move to give yourself room when the scene arrives.

A group statistic does not predict an individual story. And a comparable guide does not show that ALO produces those results.

  1. 01

Withdrawal after stopping or substantially reducing use.

Studies: clinical literature on regular or dependent use.

Supports saying: withdrawal may occur; onset and intensity tend to fall within population ranges.

Does not show: what will happen to you or how long it will last.

  2. 02

    A 21-day guide · not ALO.

Studies: a pilot involving 125 young adults aged 18 to 29.

Supports saying: 84% of those who reported using the guide a lot completed the break, compared with 57% of those who did not use it.

Does not show: causality or ALO’s effectiveness. There was no random assignment or assigned control group; use was voluntary.

    Fontana and colleagues

  3. 03

    CB1 receptors during monitored abstinence.

Studies: a small, specific sample of chronic daily cannabis users using PET.

Supports saying: reversible biological adaptations were observed in that sample.

Does not show: a bodily “reset” in 21 days or a universal timetable.

    Hirvonen and colleagues

  4. 04

    Early changes in CB1 availability.

Studies: 11 men with cannabis dependence and 19 controls, with monitored abstinence.

Supports saying: some changes began early in that sample.

Does not show: that the whole body returns to normal, that the same occurs in other populations or that ALO produces the change.

WHAT ALO CAN TAKE CARE OF

One useful email. One action. One person if you write.

For 21 days you receive a brief perspective and something specific you can try. My ALO keeps the thread only if it helps; it does not create streaks or tasks.

That is something we can deliver and check. The conclusion comes from what you observe.

What we cannot know for you.

We cannot know in advance what you will feel or promise a cure, easy withdrawal or that you will use less afterwards. We can support you clearly and without judgement, without asking you to decide forever.

A missing source, a question or something you disagree with? You don’t need to build a case before writing.
